Delegates Foster, Hite, Burkhammer, Chiarelli, Steele, Ward, Crouse, Holstein, Longanacre, Mazzocchi, Dean, Vance, Thorne, Hornby, Bridges, Kirby, Martin, Brooks, Butler, Pinson, Ridenour, Jeffries, Dillon, Devault, and Coop-Gonzales moved to amend the bill on page 2, section 4, line 26, by inserting the following language after the word “old”:

“: Provided, That a cause of action, brought by or on behalf of a minor, that relates to a medical injury to a minor alleging medical professional liability against a health care provider resulting from “gender altering medication” or “irreversible gender reassignment surgery”, as each is defined in §30-3-20 of this code and §30-14-17 of this code, may be commenced at any time without limitation.”
